I attended Methodist College, a private four-year liberal arts school in North Carolina, 35 minutes outside of Pinehurst, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in the PGA Golf Management program. This was one of only four PGA Golf Management Schools in the country in the early 1990s. The dream was to make it on the PGA Tour. I worked at two very exclusive private country clubs in Pinehurst for two and a half years before transferring to Arizona State University, where I completed my degrees in finance and economics.

After initially working as a stockbroker, a best friend from college reached out from California and suggested I enter the mortgage industry with him believing I would be very good at it. Since 2001, I have worked as a Loan Officer at various institutions, including on bank twice, a brief stint at another bank, and several Mortgage Bankers and Mortgage Broker entities. After gaining a lot of different perspectives and valuable experiences, I created my own Mortgage Brokerage Company, Family Financial Home Loans.

I went with the name "Family Financial Home Loans" because that is what my clientele represents to me, family. My philosophy is to embrace clients as family, build relationships, and act together as teammates from the first conversation to lifelong working relationships. I will always be monitoring when an improvement to the current mortgage can be achieved. For the very vast majority of people, their mortgage is their financial foundation… I will ensure that it is never compromised or taken lightly!
